Software
A few of my programs seem suitable for
publication here (most of them are for purposes so special that no one
in need of such a program would come looking for it here).
- VIRTUS (VIRTual USer)
Created for my RailServer project
to remote-control DOS applications. Contains documentation, binaries
and source code (partly BASIC, partly Pascal). A good example of its
use is documented in my RailServer term paper (follow the link above).
ZIP, 45k
- Mutt-Elm-Patch
A patch that makes the MUA "mutt" look almost like "elm". (Patch
created against mutt 0.89i).
.tar.gz, 5k
- nsync
A program to synchronise .newsrc files across different news servers,
creating the globally unique article IDs from the local article numbers
stored in .newsrc, and vice versa.
.c.gz, 4k
- SimpleGridBag.java
A Java Layout Manager derived from GridBagLayout, but with a much
simpler interface - you can specify the layout using a string constant
instead of a GridBagConstraints object. 100% backwards compatible with
GridBagLayout.
.java.gz, 2k
- SANE Utilities for the
Fujitsu M3091DCd
- GridConverter.java
Converts data from latitude/longitude into British National Grid (BNG)
as used in Ordnance Survey maps and practically everywhere else in
Britain.
.java.gz, 2k
- RoadHog,
a suite of programs to process photos taken from moving vehicles into
a web experience
- Scripts for Online Banking
- A simple tax form filler using ImageMagick
- A kill file mechanism for NewsPortal
- An invoice download utility for Strato customers
- Various OpenStreetmap stuff
All software
pieces on this page are in the public domain, except if there's an
explicit license statement in the source or accompanying README file(s).
And most of them are horribly old. The photo of the "Crypton Electrical Test Bench"
was taken in a garage in Inverness, Scotland.
