Braemore Junction is really just that: A junction
(and a rather busy one at that - for Scotland). Apart from a cottage let by
the Braemore Estate, there's nothing here; but venture just half a mile westwards
on the A835 or A832, and you can access the spectacular Corrieshalloch
Gorge and the Falls of Measach. (Look closely and you can see the foot bridge
at the far end which, I can assure you, is every bit as wobbly as London's Millennium
Bridge.)
If you study the "connection" photos below you will note that either
of the southwards roads can be sealed off here with barriers in case
of too much snow.
