Loch Maree and Eilean Ruairidh Mór

Talladale consists of just a few houses at the roadside,
one of them being the Loch Maree Hotel which provided accomodation for Queen
Victoria in 1877 (but is quite affordable now). From Slattadale, a bit further
up the road, there's a short woodland path leading to the Victoria Falls, and
another path (the "Tollie Path") which will take you north along the shore of
Loch Maree, all the way to Poolewe.
